Visit to Monica's orphanage today

We left early this morning for the city or GuiPing to visit Monica's hometown and orphanage. Mike and I were surprised to found out from the orphanage director that Monica was in a foster home for 3 months. They gave us the name of the couple that took care of her and told us they were in there 50's. The orphanage director gave us a tour of the orphanage we even got to see the babies. It was a very emotional day for us! The orphanage is well staffed and very clean. We also got to see were Monica was found at the gates of the hospital.

Tomorrow we fly back to Beijing and this is where we spend the rest of our time in China. We will be sad to leave Nanning... it is such a beautiful place and the people are so friendly!
